Hi, my name is Sarah and about six months after starting working with Anna in her Fertile in FourⓇ program, I got my first ever positive pregnancy test and I am currently 22 weeks. My husband and I had a long fertility journey prior to working with Anna. We had figured out some medical challenges that I had.
I had low progesterone. I had a uterine fibroid that had to be removed, but we still were not able to get pregnant. So when a friend told me about Anna’s program, we just jumped in. We figured we would give it our all for what we thought would be maybe the last six months of our fertility journey.
I didn’t do as much research as I normally would, and there were really three things about Anna’s program that really surprised me in the best way possible. The first one was the fertility nutrition framework. I love to cook. I love to eat. I love to feed others, and I was really worried that this program would have some complicated meal program that I had to follow, foods I didn’t like to eat… and that that part would be really hard for me. But what I learned is that the program really teaches you about building your fertility plate and making sure that at each meal you’re hitting your protein, your fiber, all these different aspects of kind of a balanced nutrition. So I was able to take that and apply it to my favorite meals, my favorite restaurants, and it really made the whole experience of eating for your fertility less daunting.
The second thing that I really loved about the program was the focus on things other than nutrition, like sleep and stress management and exercise. And what I really loved is Anna does a great job of telling you what’s really important to focus on so that you can tune out all the noise of Instagram and TikTok and all these different things telling you little ‘life hacks’ and what to do and just really focus on Anna’s advice and her recommendations for optimizing everything. So I found that really helpful in just adding clarity to what can be an overwhelming process.
And then the last thing that I really enjoyed about the program was the community aspect. There is a regular Zoom call and there are women from all over the country who are also facing infertility and also just experiencing the same challenges that you are. I wasn’t really expecting this part of it, but I really enjoyed joining and learning from the other women. I even visited one while I was on vacation, and it just makes infertility that much less lonely.
So yeah, that was my journey with working with Anna and the Fertile in FourⓇ program. I loved it. I couldn’t recommend it more. And I would say if you’re thinking about it, just jump in and really just give it your all. You never know what could happen.
